Omega is a NDIS registered provider of individualised, community-based support services with our team working across metropolitan Melbourne. We are seeking motivated, adaptable and passionate people to join our team of casual support workers. We want to hear from people with strong interpersonal skills, who can think outside the box and build positive rapport.

What the role involves
- Working directly with people with disability in their homes and community, providing practical, individualised support.
- Meal planning, cooking, assisting with self care, medication management, light household chores, assistance to attend appointments, access employment, play sport, go shopping, participate in community activities or even teach a new skill.
- Communicating with a range of stakeholders, family, health professionals, other support staff.
- Implementation of strategies intended to enhance skills and independence.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records including shift notes.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Right to work in Australia
- Level 2 First Aid and CPR
- Basic computer skills
- Strong English language skills, written and verbal
- Unrestricted drivers licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
Desirable skills and experience
- Prior experience of disability, including Autism
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or similar
- Current study community services/ healthcare/ occupational therapy
